Preparations' Calendar
A year before
- Choose the wedding church or the registry office.
- Get in contact with the parish priest or the civil officer for the introductory agreements.
- Visit the San Biagio Hotel and get information about the different kinds of reception.
Six months before
- Book a Hotel San Biagio banqueting hall.
- Confirm the church or the registry office.
- Deal with the required documents, remembering that some are valid only for six months.
- The bride will have to think about the choice of the wedding dress.
Five months before
- Prepare a first list of guests and people you wish to send the wedding announcements to and talk with the band.
Three months before
- Come to an agreement with the San Biagio Hotel over the bride’s bouquet, the floral decorations for the ceremony and the reception.
- Choose definitively the bride’s dress.
- Contact a photographer’s studio and decide on the photographic and audio-video service.
- Order the wedding announcements, the invitations and the thanks cards.
- Book the wedding trip.
Two months before
- Contact the San Biagio Hoteltor decide on the menu and the wines for the wedding reception and the wedding cake.
- Choose the witnesses and ask for their permission.
- Choose the bridegroom’s suit.
- Decide on the presence of pages and damsels and ask for their parents' permission.
- Choose the shop and leave the wedding list.
- Send the wedding announcements.
- Choose and order the bonbonnières.
One month before
- Choose the wedding rings.
- The bride will choose the hairdresser and decide the hairstyle.
- Decide with our staff on the musical entertainment and choose the floral decorations.
Three weeks before
- Make with the photographer an on-the-spot inspection of the church or registry office of the San Biagio Hotel.
Two weeks before
- Organise a lunch or a dinner at Al Serro Restaurant for tasting the chosen menu.
- Verify the number of guests at the wedding party.
- Final fitting of the wedding dress.
One week before
- Contact the suppliers by phone to check that everything is on time.
- Communicate our staff the number of the guests, trying to be as precise as possible.
- Go to the hairdresser's for a retouch.
- Meet the friends for the goodbye to the unmarried state.
Two days before
- Collect the bride’s dress and bridegroom’s suit, and verify them in detail.
The day before
- Check the arrangement and the setting of the tables, the floral decorations, the positioning of the place cards.
- Confirm the appointment with the hairdresser and the make-up man, the photographer and the chauffeur for the following day.
